Amal McCaskill's first night on the Washington Avenue Armory court proved his power as a member of the Albany Patroons, as the Pats defeated the Atlanta Krunk 120-111 [4.5-2.5] to even Albany's record at 3-3. McCaskill hit 37 points, pulled down 14 boards, dished out six assists, and garnered cheers and support from the fans in attendance.
Nat Burton contributed 29 points in Albany's victory, while Dajan Smith's 18 points were punctuated with a pair of alley-oop slams.
For the Krunk, Zach Marbury led all visitors with 35 points, while Miguel Millian's 15 points included four three-pointers.
Albany will host the East Kentucky Miners this coming Friday and Saturday at the Armory.
