PHIL JACKSON INDUCTED INTO BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME

On September 9, 2007, former Albany Patroons head coach Phil Jackson was inducted into the Nasimith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. Jackson coached the Patroons for 4 1/2 seasons, winning the 1984 CBA Championship, the 1983 All-Star Classic and earning the 1985 CBA Coach of the Year honors.

Okay, he also won nine NBA championships with the Bulls and Lakers, but his first championship came with the likes of Andre Gaddy, Derrick Rowland, Frankie J.
